Chichia

I discovered -Christine Mhando- by browsing the web. This london based designer established in 2007 the brand "Chichia London". Her collections consits of colorfull african, floral and animal prints with a modern twist. Christine Mhando was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania but raised in London, England. She uses these influences in her collection. In the collections the "KHANGA" fabric is used which is a traditional east African cotton printed fabric used by women as wraps. The Khanga returns in all her pieces combined with other fabrics. I see myself rocking some of her pieces this summer.
